We soon located the fantastic Magellanic Woodpecker, first seeing a female... (Pete Morris)

... and then the stunning red-headed male Magellanic Woodpecker (Pete Morris)

On the forest floor, we found a very friendly Magellanic Tapaculo (Pete Morris)

A couple of smart Argentine Red Foxes provided a diversion from the excellent birding (Pete Morris)
