Our 2008 Western Mexico tour was another fantastic success. Over 400 species again and nearly all of the hoped-for specialities! The 60 or so photos below, give a brief overview of the tour! We began in La Paz, and where else, the sewage ponds! There were many more interesting species present, but this 2nd calendar year male Ruff (the left bird) pictured with some Lesser Yellowlegs, was one of the first, if not the first, documented record for Mexico!
